OPENING OF SCOTTISH SCENIC ROUTES PILOT PROJECTS

A formal opening of two of the three initial pilot projects at the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park took place on 25 June.  The two completed projects are at Falls of Falloch, by John Kennedy, and Loch Lubnaig, by Ruairidh Moir.

The launch day also saw the formal opening of a viewpoint project at Balquhidder Braes by Final year architecture students Daniel Tyler and Angus Ritchie.

The Scottish Scenic Routes project seeks to involve newly graduated and newly qualified architects and landscape architects in the development of a series of interventions along Scotland's most scenic roads.
