Scottish Scenic Routes Exhibition

The exhibition of the Scenic Routes competition entries is presently touring Scotland.  Locations that have been arranged in the near future are:- The Lighthouse, Glasgow 6 – 29 May and Iona Gallery, Kingussie 30 May – 11 July.   The exhibition is also expected to visit Aberdeen School of Architecture late September (TBC).

The Scenic Routes initiative was launched in June 2013 by Richard Lochhead MSP, then Cabinet Secretary for Rural Affairs and the Environment in the Scottish Government .

Inspired by the National Tourist Routes programme in Norway, the Scottish Scenic Routes initiative is a three year pilot scheme which has already delivered installations at Falls of Falloch, Loch Lubnaig and Balquhidder.  The exhibition features the winning designs, along with short listed entries for these sites.

You can also see the winning and shortlisted designs for sites which have been selected for development at Corgarff and Laggan.

An accompanying book, featuring all the designs, is available, free of charge, at the exhibition.
